Thanks for the report Moonlight. Our campaign wizard is cdrsubron7, who authored that mission. He will want to know some info: computer specs, how much RAM do you have, are you running 32 or 64 bit windows (computer/properties window will give you what you need), have you applied the large address aware patch or Silent Hunter 4?
I'm not the expert on this, but your crash sounds to me like one that happens when SH4 runs slam up against the 3.2 GB memory limit of a 32-bit program or a 32-bit program on a 64-bit machine. But don't take MY word for it! Cdrsubron7 is yer egggspurt here.

I copied that over from SubSim for him there, RR. It's actually probably just bad calls for ships, with the MIS file having something different from the Names.cfg, which is different from the Roster, etc...

I've done a quick run through on Kiska Unbound and of course it runs fine on my computer. No issues with the Recognition Manual. Of course, I was running Auto Targeting (have never gotten the hang of manual targeting). If one oof our group who use manual targeting could give the mission a quick run through and see how the Recognition Manual works that would probably help. Just wondering if this might have to do with the TDC on an S-class sub.
The specs from Moonlight's computer might help also.

One other thing I think I think I should mention that I found interesting while running the Kiska Unbound mission is that the radar worked fine. However, I never got any sonar contact. Just wondering how CapnScurvy is coming along with his work on the sensors?
