OK, while the road was rough, I did manage to change some of the calls in the campaign layer for some of the ship Type= to match what CapnScurvy had put in the mod. However, there are a few calls I've found in the Single Mission files that may present some problems. Thus far (and it's early) I've found a call for a Name=BB Nagato, Class=BBFuso, type=11, and a call for a Name=_Jap_BBIse, Class=BBIseConv, Type=11. This is the SM02Pala...Passage and the BattleOfThePhilippines MIS files in the Single Missions folder. I'll be going back through my notes here (I'm not confused...) for possible clarification from CapnScurvy on his Naming Nomenclature used. The one note I took says that the Nagato is Type 11, while the Fuso is Type 19, with the Ise being type 11 and the IseConv being 19 also. I've changed the Name on the one, Class on the other, and made them both Type 19... I'll see if the missions run like that...

I corrected them after I installed 0.26 over the stock game. If I have time tonight before the Cubs game I will make corrections in theo.26 Beta mod itself and upload it to Area 51 for a replacement of the one RR uploaded. This needs to be done anyway and probably should have been done sooner.

I just did a Beta26AddOn.7z in the WIP / Propbeaneez Stuffz folder. See if that does similar. I cannot tell if I did it correctly, since I'm not sure how to catalog stuff... I can run the ME without error now, other than some of the missions will not open in it, but most of those are due to bad airplane calls now. I hope to have those straightened out this evening, so that all you'll have to do is use the Mission Editor to make any changes you want, unless you want to do ship substitutions, and then you're better off using a text editor, so that you can save your waypoints...

Not a bad idea cdrsubron7. What it is like, is several "hand" edits to CFG files, especially targeting the "Bismarck" in the ship files, but also includes some of the air and other ship *.remove files (hopefully - I've not checked the trash lately). Then there's the Roster Update, Sub_Depot_ship, and UntiTypeChanges zip files, rolled into the one zip Beta26AddOn.7z file, along with an edited NACA4. So it should be:
1. Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific, v1.5 with Uboats, either add-on, disk, or Gold 2. 100FallOfTheRisingSun_Ultimate_v0.26_Beta_EN.7z applied to that 3. Beta26AddOn.7z applied to that. (which is as described here)
That's it. Most of the other updates were in there already, just a bit wasn't. Like I say though, I haven't checked the trash to see if it's all gone. I did have issues with that on my computers even before doing any other updating. Just doesn't seem to want to work as advertised. Once those are there, the ME should run, and these should work about 50% better than what they did:
4. CampReDo.7z for the first update to the campaign layer (more to follow). 5. ReDidSingMissLayer.yz for the first update to the Single Missions folder.
Neither 4. or 5. are finished, and there are still missions that won't load, and / or might CTD the computer, and / or might not load in Mission Editor. More bum ship calls, and bum airplane calls, along with who knows what thus far.. Work In Progress...

OK cdrsubron7, I've got an update to the update of the Single Missions, in the Google Drive WIP SingleMissions folder, find "TestSingles.7z" file. It should have a few other besides all of your Fall of the Rising Sun Ultimate SingleMissions. Hopefully, they'll work OK. All I did to the files was to make certain of the Ships' Name= and Type= calls matched what is in the games data folders. They all seem to play find in the Mission Editor player, and I've started several of them and played around. See the "Beta Testers Reports" section above, and I've got one of my own simple missions that crashed when I used the Recognition Manual, like happened to Moonlight the other day. I'm not sure if it's my game install, mod install, the mods, or the Manual... :lol:
