OK, I guess the older they are, the more difficult it is to teach them new tricks... I've basically been trying to do what s7rikeback had already done, though I didn't realize it, because I did not realize that the spreadsheet he'd made could scroll to the side... This is what I just love about this newer Microsoft garbage they call software, with their little pretty ribbon across the top, and a total lack of the use of highlighting certain aspects of the UI... This Excel 2016 tries to "hide" things from the user, like the gutter scrolls, similar to the way they used to try to hide menu items starting with Office 97... IE does it with the vertical scroll, where it disappears if you aren't using it... Anyway, I found where s7rikeback had already tracked the Countries the ships are used by. All we need now is for him to do the same to the Airplanes - hint hint hint, there s7rikeback... |;^) - All I can say is "Wow, man!"
Now, I've re-formatted his spreadsheet for us eight-and-a-half-by-eleven Yanks, laid it over to landscape mode, made the pages about 90% of their size for printing on one sheet, changed some of the background coloring for better printing (that still needs work), titled it and uploaded it to the "Root" of the Google Drive. Look for "s7rikebacxShipsUsedFotRSultimate.xlsx" over there. I was going to release my version to the public, but I now leave that up to s7rikeback. I suppose we could call this one "preliminary" and make a new "Final Release" version when we've finished with the mod.
Excellent work there s7rikeback. Now, if I only had more money so that I could pay attention more / better...
