Check this out s7rikeback: M35R NPL_RC NSHOS All three running in the same The Museum session... I'm rather proud of myself... All I did to get the NSHOS going was to change it's Type=14 to a Type=100. I'm guessing that the system does not like a Type=14 as "Neutral" or something - maybe it treats it as a warship?? I also put a "space" in between Hospital and Ship on it, and added the "Red Cross" to the NPL_RC as I was chasing the differences between the two down... See if changing the Type works for you also. Might just be a configuration thing on my computer.

Glad it's going... Now, on to: which was cloned for the IJN version. If I try to set either or (or both and / or) all cfg files for the three folders (two in Roster, one in Sea) to Type=13, or anything other than Type=100, my Museum crashes. If I set all to Type=100, the museum works just fine, and the ships work fine in the ME, other than, as cdrsubron7 points out, no flag: Also, notice the RecMan image - er, I meant, lack of RecMan image... I was going to include Privateer in the PMs a little while ago, but forgot. I don't think this ship was included in his F01-FLG conversion. Is that the issue here? I just happened to think, I wonder what happens if you try to open the Recognition Manual with the different Type= settings... I can see I'll be busy until dinner time, then it'll be time for the Cubbies to beat the Indians...

Good evening Propbeanie, Had a look at my dry docks folder, and both the tenders work as normal, both with aunit type of 100. I also found one of my very first attempts to convert somebody else's creation to a Tender... But the .sil is slightly wrong.. Hmm how would one create an sil ?

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I'm sure you're probably wanting to get to sleep... the sil files are dds, but are pictures of just the ship itself, no background, on a "transparent" page. Using gimp, a "full-featured" sil (side, three quarter and front views) would look like this: Notice, no sign of the book itself, just the miniature ship veiws. Text comes from the cfg file. You might also notice that there is no flag on the ship in the sil file. From what I've seen, most folks just get something close, re-name it, and go with that. They also usually don't worry about the frontal and 3/4 views. I'll see if I can find you one for that ship. The pixel size of the file is in the Title Bar, at 512x256, no bigger, no smaller. The checkerboard signifies the "transparency". (The "imported" in the title bar when using Gimp signifies that a plug-in was used to obtain the picture, and that it's data format was converted.) To make your own sil file involves much more "photo-shopping" than I'd care to think about... Perhaps max-peck has the patience?? As for the flags themselves on the ships, if they're "support" vessels of Type=100, the IJN vessels should carry the full Rising Sun battle flag... - I think... cdrsubron7 would know for certain.

OK, the NPL_RC is using a copy of the NPL_Hap sil file. The NPL_Kiturin is very similar, and it's file has the 3 views... Not an exact match, but closer than what you have now. Maybe cdrsubron7 has some connection to the past lineage of that ship... ??
Can you guys see the M35Hansa OK? It's the "Old Fast Merchant" in my Museum. It is also used for the M35_RC Hospital ship. I'm thinking I'm going to have to blow away all that I have, and re-do, -OR- get a "new" v0.27Beta (or whatever number) so that we're all on the same page...
